Frostbit Fins is the home of one of Alaska’s first professional Mermaids. Our team strives to bring you a unique and personal experience to make your event one to remember. The brainchild of JessiAnna, our primary performer, and her Mer-wrangler / manager mom, Beth, FbF has since grown to encompass most of the family, friends and business partners – all known now as our Frostbit Fins Pod.
A 10+ year competitive swimmer, JessiAnna works tirelessly to learn and improve on her craft daily. She encourages safety and conservation practices and recently became a Certified Professional Lifeguard, with First Aid and rescue certifications. Jessi has also received her WSI Certification, and was just crowned Miss Mermaid Alaska, 2021 by the MissMermaidUSA organization! This is already opening doors for her to further her passion – teaching water safety to Alaska’s people! She currently works as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at the Nikiski pool. How does she have legs? As Jessi tells the children, she has locked her selkie skin carefully away to allow her to walk on legs until she returns to the sea once again.
Jessi adores working with kids and adults alike, and loves nothing more that the smiles of children who fully believe in the magic of Mermaids. She strives to maintain the magic, and will do everything to ensure your party attendees leave smiling a bigger than before, with stars in their eyes, and the remembered feel of waves between their toes.
